Office for Judicial Complaints receives complaints about 'predatory' remarks

The OJC has received a number of complaints re the remarks of a judge in relation to the ‘predatory nature’ of a 13 year old sex abuse victim.

They have issued the following statement:

 

OFFICE FOR JUDICIAL COMPLAINTS STATEMENT - HIS HONOUR JUDGE PETERS QC


"The Office for Judical Complaints has received a number of complaints about the remarks made by HHJ Peters QC during the sentencing of a defendant at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 5 August 13. The complaints will be considered in accordance with the Judicial Discipline (Prescribed Procedure) Regulations 2006 (as amended)."

  1. Hi, I am pleased to be reminded of the inappropriate, misognistic comments even by a Judge regarding a 13 year old child. This will assist my research & campaigning.
